Important Note
This design repository is the outcome of a project sponsored by SEED/ASI/FCDO rendered to the Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP), Pakistan.
It is designed for the sole use of Department(s) authorized by the Government of KP, for designing small/rural roads only while preparing PC-1s. It is strongly recommended that specific projects must be optimised on the basis of actual/realistic data (as and when available) with the help of additionally provided 'actual design' workbook.
This modular design repository can design for a maximum of cumulative 10 Million ESALs for entire design life, considering the data for small roads. In case of higher values of ESALs, 'actual design' workbook shall be used by qualified professionals with necessary precautions.
All technical specifications for construction of designed road projects and related rates are based on the MRS 2022.
In the following forms, only cells in blue color can be edited/selected. All the other value (uncolored) are static.
Read through the ‘Instructions for use’ and ‘Frequently Asked Questions’ for further clarity on using this repository.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
1 All the input forms in this repository are designed in a user-friendly format to make them an integral part of PC-1 documents. PC-1 form (Infrastructure) can be downloaded from here. In all the input forms, only cells in blue color can be edited/selected. All the other value (uncolored) are static.
2 Certain cells in 'Design Summary' sheet are also editable for entering project- specific information. These cells are also highlighted in blue color.
3 All the output sheets are set for printing (where applicable). These sheets provide necessary details about major inputs, design process, design output coupled with a Design Summary sheet, followed by details of quantities and costs (based on MRS- 2022) for structural design of each module.
